Sheffield Success

I popped down to visit my parents in Sheffield yesterday, and stayed the night. My brother in law picked me up from the train station and very kindly drove me past an 89 on the road leading from The Parkway to my house, at around 1632. After the crapness of the last few weeks, a second plate in a day was most welcome.

Today, we drove up the M1 to see my grandma. With Christmas on its way, people's thoughts turn to Christmas shopping which means that out of town shopping centres like Meadowhell get very busy. As we turned onto the motorway, we saw (slightly too late) that it was jam packed, all three lanes moving very slowly. BIL said that he didn't understand why people just didn't do all their shopping on the internet. I could only concur. Freaks.

It wasn't all bad though, since one of the queueing cars was a 90, at twelve minutes past 11. I hope that that one car of people somehow had a very pleasant and successful day's shopping.

And then, to finish off, there was a lovely 91 driving along Leeman Road when I got home this evening at five to five.

At sodding last.

Finally, 88 on a posh car passing towards the Leeman Road railway tunnel. Today, at two minutes to one.

I had one that I was 90% sure of earlier in the week. It was either B88 or 888. B88 was likelier, but it was dark and I couldn't convince myself of its validity sufficiently.

Now it's time to move on.

Another slow patch

It's all gone very slow again... Come on 88! I saw three 89's drive past me within the space of six cars yesterday, but they were all of no value to me. Darn.

Delayed update

Due to a complete lack of free time, recently, I haven't updated here for a while. Briefly, on Thursday 28th at 0852, the dead cert 83 was where it was supposed to be. Strike one. Later the same day, whilst sorting out the pub treasure hunt, I found an 84 parked outside the Dean Court Hotel (1733). And the following day, 85 was the blue Volvo that's always parked outside work of a morning. Easy.

Then fallow for a couple of weeks.

Today, 86 on Ouse Bridge at 1650, and two minutes later, a blue volvo outside Reflex with an 87.

Bit dull, apologies.
