Broken

I got a 97 last night, near Chris's house as he'd promised. That now leaves me to get three today. I'll say here: unless there is an Act Of God, it won't happen.

Not quite at 100 yet

My target of 100 in 2004 is starting to look tight. I got a couple over Christmas:

95 on Christmas Eve, parked in the car park of The Phoenix at 1930. I got a bit excited by it and then had to explain to people why I was excited. Which I think made me look a little odd.

96 on Christmas Day, on the way back from picking up my Great Aunty from Woodhouse. I kept quiter this time - she really wouldn't have understood.

I need to now get one each day for the next four days (including what remains of this one). I'm thinking I might have to go for a bit of a walk along busy roads at some point soon.

Slow December

As ever, things are going slowly - as evinced by this being my first post here this month :-(

Back on Thursday the 2nd I had a meeting down the road on Skeldergate. At five minutes to ten, a 92 drove up Micklegate, and I saw it at the crossroads. Then, just the next day I had an out of town meeting which involved me catching the bus. Urggh. Don't like buses much. But at least it was fairly quick (om the way there in any case). On the end of Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate there was a blue Canon Hygeine van. I didn't even know there was any artilliery that needed cleaning in that area. The van was 93 and it was eight minutes to nine. Early!

Then a couple of empty weeks. Last monday (a whole week ago!) there was a lunchtime 94 at 1223 at the end of Coney Street.

I'm aiming to get to 100 before the end of the year. Should be doable given that I have some time planned in Different Places (ie Sheffield).
