125 and 126

I'll keep this brief because I'm going out shortly. 125 at 1233 today, white car at bottom of Leeman Road. Hoping that 126 and 127 will be very easy buses. I normally see them every day (which almost guarantees that both will have been recently taken out of service).

addenddum: Bendy Bus 126 outside the library on 31 March, 1422. Cool.

Accidental 124 poem

Whilst walking around the city walls today,
I found myself out Foss Islands way.
What I saw I can't discuss
Oh, go on then, it was a bus.
A bendy bus with walls of steel
And on each corner there was a wheel.
This bus it had a registration
That didn't cause me consternation,
Because it was a 124
And the big fat lion went ROOOOOAAAARRRR
at around 1125 am.

Easy as...

It's been just under two weeks since my last spot, and it was getting to be depressing again. Where's the bally 123???

As I walked towards town earlier today, a blue car rounded the corner, too far away for me to read its plate. I willed it to be a 123. "Be a 123 please" I thought. I was then pretty surprised to see that it was actually a 123. A real one. Ten minutes short of one o'clock, on Leeman Road.

My psychic powers are now developed enough to manifest cars.

Hong Clifton Phooey

What is it that I like about going up to Clifton Park for meetings?

Is it the rubbish catering facilities? No!

Is it the wonderful lack of proximity of many local shops? No!

Is it the way that they on the way home there are lots of lovely cars to look at? Could be!

On Water Lane after a meeting at Clifton today, 121 at 1720, and a 122 taxi five minutes later on the same road. Nice.

Waiting for buses

Walking into town earlier, I saw a 120 at 1245 by the homeless shelter. The next ten or so spots might be quite straightforward - the bendy-buses near me seem to be a fleet with numbers going up to at least 129. Possibly I should just go and hang out by a bus stop for a few days.

Bendy bus and lorry

I walk down Leeman Road at 0845. Need 118. Bendy Bus drives past. It's 119. Darn. Minute later, lorry drives past. 118! Yay! But shame about the 119 having gone.

Through the railway tunnel there is traffic. Bendy bus is stuck in traffic. 119! Double Yay! Arrive at work happy.
